Shop Policies/ FAQ's
About
White Sage & Sapphire is owned and operated by one person, Zachary Landry (that's me!) I handcraft each piece with care & attention to detail utilizing high quality natural gemstones paired with Sterling Silver & 14K Gold Fill metals. I take all of the product photos, manage several social media accounts, list each piece, respond to emails/comments, & ship out orders. To ensure satisfaction I’ve implemented several shop policies outlined below. I uphold these policies & as the consumer it is your responsibility to understand shop policies prior to placing any orders. Placing an order signals that you understand & agree to what's outlined below. If you still have questions after reading this page, please email me (info@whitesageandsapphire.com).
Shipping
I usually process & ship orders in 1-3 business days. Upon checkout you may choose between USPS First Class (5-8 business days) or USPS Priority (1-3 business days). These are only delivery estimates and I am not responsible for delays in shipping times. In most cases I adhere to my 1-3 business days processing window, however, due to the nature of being a one person operation, sometimes life gets in the way - whether that be personal illness, vacations, or other issues. If your package isn't going to ship within the 1-3 business day window I will contact you via the email provided at checkout. If you need your order by a specific date/time & have concerns about arrival, please email me after purchase (info@whitesageandsapphire.com).
I am not responsible for items lost in the mail, though I will try my hardest to help you track it down if this event occurs.
International Shipping
I ship orders world-wide, so if you are not a U.S. resident please know your country's policies and customs fees, as all international customs forms will have proper documentation of contents and value. This may mean you have to pay additional customs duties or import fees. Arrival time of international orders varies on a case by case basis, though most orders arrive within 2 weeks.
Returns
Generally speaking, due to the nature of jewelry, I tend to not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges. To avoid this, please carefully read shop listings. I DO NOT allow returns or exchanges due to wrong size, color variation, or buyer's remorse. Please know your size before ordering. I try my hardest to accurately depict colors, textures, & details in my photos. Shop listings also include appropriate sizes, lengths, & measurements in the item description. If you are genuinely dissatisfied with your purchase, your item arrives damaged, or there was a mistake, please email me (info@whitesageandsapphire.com).
Chain Lengths & Ring Sizes
All ring sizes, necklace lengths, cuff measurements, etc. are final and cannot be changed. Please read all item descriptions thoroughly as all necessary measurements can be found under each listing. Additionally, always go by measurements listed - do not judge product dimensions based upon modeled photos.
Custom Orders
I do accept custom orders from time to time. Custom orders are only taken after careful evaluation of both my current workload/schedule and the projects requirements. I require a 50% deposit on all custom orders before I begin work. If you have interest in having a custom piece made, send an email with the subject line CUSTOM to info@whitesageandsapphire.com. This is the only way to reach me for custom work as I do not accept custom orders via Instagram or Facebook. I will not accept any custom orders that ask to recreate another artists work, this is plagiarism.
Care & Repairs
Jewelry is an investment and should be cared for as such. Avoid strenuous activities (such as hiking, biking, gardening, etc.) while wearing and remove prior to any activity that may make you sweat. Avoid moisture while wearing & remove when swimming, showering, applying lotions & perfumes, hand washing, etc. Chemicals found in cosmetics and household cleaners can damage natural stones & will often exacerbate the tarnish of your metals. Almost all metals tarnish with prolonged exposure to sunlight, oxygen, & moisture, so store your jewelry in a dark, dry place. I include a complimentary suede travel pouch & polishing cloth with each purchase to help keep your jewelry looking like new & I recommend storing your jewelry in the pouch when not in use. If you notice your jewelry is starting to dull or build up tarnish, simply use the provided polishing cloth to restore it to its natural shine. Apply light, even pressure while buffing over tarnished areas & take your time, it's not a race! I take great care in crafting each of my pieces, but sometimes life happens! Chains can become stretched or wear thin, clasps can lose their spring, or you might chip a stone during wear. If a piece you purchase is in need of repair, please email me with a description of the repair & accompanying photos (info@whitesageandsapphire.com). In most cases I can handle repairs myself, however there are some instances where I will need to outsource to a trusted bench jeweler. Cost of repairs is on a case by case basis & will be discussed after considering the individual needs of each piece after careful evaluation.
